Woman in Green Shirt Swinging Golf Club on Sunny Day — Clip Details

A woman in a green patterned sleeveless shirt and khaki shorts plays golf on a sunny day in Scottsdale, Arizona, 1968. Shot on 8mm film, the clip captures her full swing sequence on a grassy course with desert vegetation and rocky hills in the background. She wears sunglasses and sandals, her motion fluid and focused as she strikes the ball. The footage exhibits natural film grain and vibrant, slightly faded colors characteristic of vintage home movies from the late 1960s.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for requests needing late-1960s Arizona leisure footage, especially documentary or educational edits about recreation, golf, travel, or everyday resort-area activity.
Period detail: The clothing, sunglasses, sandals, 8mm color stock, and metadata-supported 1968 Scottsdale setting place the scene in a late-1960s leisure context.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has unstaged home-movie value in its casual observation of a woman practicing a golf swing outdoors rather than a formal sports broadcast setup.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman with golf club, golf ball, grassy course, desert shrubs, rocky hillside, bright sun, and another golfer with a pull cart.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows visible grain, mild softness, contrasty sunlight, and slightly faded color that read as authentic home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a short insert, recreation cutaway, travel-memory beat, or transition into a broader sequence about Arizona leisure culture.
Historical context: The footage visually suggests casual adult recreation in a desert golf setting, with no supported claim about a named course, event, or organized competition.
Research note: A visible adult face and likeness require review, while no logos, minors, music, or clear private-property identifiers are apparent from the supplied frames.
Research search match: Matches searches such as 1968 Scottsdale golf home movie, woman golfing in Arizona, 8mm desert golf course, and late-1960s leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent same-reel golf or travel scenes, then other 1968 Scottsdale footage, then broader vintage golf, resort recreation, or Arizona leisure material.
