People Sunbathing On Vacation At The Pool — Clip Details

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Supports requests for 1960s Arizona vacation or resort leisure footage for documentary, museum, educational, or editorial sequences.
Period detail: Visible clues include low-slung resort architecture, palm-lined pool grounds, yellow lounge chairs, period swimwear, and warm 8mm color consistent with the 1968 metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has an unstaged visitor perspective, observing guests sunbathing, swimming, and moving around the pool area without posed action.
What appears in frame: The frames show a turquoise swimming pool, sunbathers on yellow loungers, palm trees, patio furniture, shaded resort buildings, and distant desert hills.
Film character: The 8mm scan carries soft grain, mild gate shadow, warm faded color, and handheld framing that preserve the texture of original home-movie footage.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a vacation memory beat, poolside cutaway, Arizona resort insert, or transitional glimpse of late-1960s leisure.
Historical context: The scene documents midcentury resort recreation in Scottsdale, with adults relaxing poolside in a desert setting supported by the supplied location metadata.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos are apparent, and copyright clearance is separate from personal or property rights.
Research search match: Useful for searches such as 1968 Scottsdale resort pool, 1960s Arizona vacation home movie, vintage 8mm sunbathing, and retro poolside leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1968 Scottsdale or Arizona resort scenes, then broader 1960s vacation and poolside leisure material.
