Military Officers with Rocket Model — Clip Details

NEW HAMPSHIRE-1952: A vintage 8mm film clip captures a formal outdoor military ceremony. A band in uniform stands at attention on a grassy field, with a large wooden structure in the background. The scene shifts to two officers in green uniforms standing before a microphone and a white rocket model, with trees forming a natural backdrop. One officer speaks while the other stands at attention, then removes his cap in a solemn gesture. The footage exhibits classic 1950s Super 8 film grain, color fading, and slight motion blur, evoking a sense of historical Americana and Cold War-era patriotism.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: This clip supports 1950s Cold War-era documentary or education edits needing a brief outdoor military ceremony with officers, microphones, and a rocket model.
Period detail: The uniforms, formal microphones, 8mm color stock, and white rocket display may show early-1950s military or civic ceremony detail in New Hampshire.
Home-movie behavior: The value is a visitor-shot view of officials standing and speaking in a public ceremony, with small gestures and framing that feel observational rather than staged.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include two uniformed officers, microphone stands, a white rocket model, trees, grass, peaked caps, medals or insignia, and film-frame borders.
Film character: The footage has soft 8mm color, visible grain, mild blur, uneven exposure, and contact-print framing that give it a physical home-movie archive texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a short insert, ceremony cutaway, Cold War visual reference, or transition between military, parade, and public-speech material.
Historical context: The scene places uniformed speakers beside a rocket model in an outdoor public setting, reflecting midcentury military ceremony and aerospace symbolism without identifying a specific event.
Research note: People in uniform are visible, so likeness and military-context review may be needed; copyright status is separate from any privacy, publicity, or venue concerns.
Research search match: Useful search phrases include 1952 New Hampshire military ceremony, 8mm officers at microphone, vintage rocket model speech, and 1950s parade grounds footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with nearby shots from the same reel, then other New Hampshire 1952 ceremony footage, then broader 1950s military parade or rocket-display scenes.
