Blindfolded Man Plays Game With Wooden Chair — Clip Details

A blindfolded man in a white shirt and light trousers participates in a game with a wooden chair at a 1966 social gathering in Mineola, New York. Women in 1960s dresses — one in a black-and-white striped skirt, another in a dark polka-dot dress — stand around, guiding the game. The man reaches out, feeling for the chair as others watch and assist. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures the playful, nostalgic atmosphere of a mid-century party with natural film grain and warm, slightly faded colors.

What appears in frame: Visible elements include a blindfolded man, women in patterned dresses, a wooden chair, dress shoes, hands guiding the game, and a crowded interior floor.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows warm color, soft focus, visible grain, uneven exposure, and handheld framing that preserve the home-movie texture.

Historical context: The clip shows a private indoor party game and may reflect common mid-century home entertainment without identifying the participants or occasion.
Research note: People and a private interior are visible, so likeness and property considerations should be reviewed separately from any copyright licensing.
