Tourists Explore Ancient Ruins Of Pompeii — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1960, this vintage home movie captures the ancient ruins of Pompeii, Italy, under a bright blue sky. Weathered stone columns and crumbling archways frame the scene as tourists in period clothing explore the historic site. A woman in a light-colored dress walks through an archway, while other visitors stroll among the ruins. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color fading, and natural light, offering authentic archival footage of mid-century European travel and historic preservation.
