Girl in Dutch Costume at Parade — Clip Details

A young girl in a traditional Dutch costume with a red bonnet rides in a hay-filled wagon during a 1959 parade in Aledo, Texas. Children on bicycles follow behind, and a red tractor pulls a decorated float carrying more participants. The scene unfolds on a rural dirt road lined with modest houses and trees, captured on 8mm film with authentic grain and color saturation. The community gathers for a festive, nostalgic celebration, blending cultural heritage with small-town Americana.
