Two Brunette Women And A Tanned Man Sitting On A Boat — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1948, this vintage home movie captures two brunette women and a tanned man in swimwear sitting on a boat in a Long Island harbor. The women wear white and light green strapless swimsuits, while the man wears a cap and swim trunks. They relax on a cushioned bench as the boat floats near other moored vessels. The background reveals a classic waterfront scene with buildings, masts, and a sunny sky, all rendered in the warm, slightly faded colors characteristic of mid-century home movies. The footage shows natural film grain and subtle camera movement, evoking a nostalgic 1940s summer day.
