A young boy emerges from the water in a grainy 8mm home movie from Moscow, Russia, 1983. The black-and-white footage captures him swimming in a lake, his face breaking the surface with a smile. The scene shifts to him on the shore, crawling in the sand near the water's edge. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, dark borders, and a nostalgic, candid quality, evoking a personal summer memory from the early 1980s.
