Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures a family enjoying a summer day at a lake in Saint Petersburg, Russia. A young boy in dark swim trunks stands in the shallow water while others swim and play nearby. The footage shows natural, unscripted moments of childhood leisure, with soft green and blue tones and visible film grain and scratches. The scene evokes a nostalgic, candid atmosphere of mid-century family life by the water.
