Two Men Walking In A Field — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures two men walking side by side across a vast, open field in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 characteristics: a cool blue-green color cast, visible film grain, and vertical scratches. The men, seen from behind in dark clothing, move steadily across the flat landscape under a pale sky, with a distant treeline and a small structure on the horizon. The handheld camera remains relatively stable, offering a nostalgic, observational view of a quiet moment in mid-20th century Russia.

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s Soviet-era home-movie requests needing quiet rural walking footage, open landscape atmosphere, or observational human scale for documentary and educational edits.
Period detail: The scene may show a 1967 home-movie view near Saint Petersburg, with two men in dark clothing crossing a flat field under a pale sky.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the unstaged rear-view movement of two men walking together, recorded from a distant handheld home-movie perspective.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include two distant men, a broad open field, low horizon, pale sky, dark treeline, and a small structure or mound near the horizon.
Film character: The 8mm scan has cool blue-green color, soft focus, visible grain, vertical scratches, and slight handheld steadiness that read as physical archive texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief cutaway, transition, memory beat, or quiet insert suggesting travel, distance, companionship, or rural open space.
Historical context: The footage offers a restrained social glimpse of two adult figures moving through an open landscape without visible signage, vehicles, or identifiable landmarks.
Research note: People are visible at a distance, so likeness review may still be needed; no logos, brands, audible music, or clear private property are visible in these frames.
