Man Pulls Someone From Capsized Kayak As Others Rush To Help — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a dramatic moment at a lakeside in Versailles, France. A man in a blue shirt stands on a cobblestone embankment as another man in swim trunks pulls a person from a capsized kayak. The scene unfolds with urgency as others gather, some shirtless in swimwear, watching the rescue. The water is a deep purple hue, typical of aged film, with visible grain and slight color fading. The camera remains stationary, offering a candid, observational view of this summer rescue.
