People Riding On A Large Parade Float Advertising... — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm film clip from 1962 in Nice, France, showing a parade float promoting Kentucky's tobacco industry. The green-decorated float features bold white text reading 'THE BLUE GRASS STATE' and 'TOBACCO AUCTION', with people riding aboard in period attire. The footage captures the lively atmosphere of a mid-century American-themed parade, with a distinct retro color palette and film grain characteristic of home movie footage from the era.
