Two Women Walk Down Wooden Pier On A Cloudy Day — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures two women walking side-by-side down a wooden pier at Clear Lake, California. The black-and-white footage shows them in period attire—one in a light blouse and dark trousers, the other in a cardigan with a sailor collar and dark pants—strolling on a cloudy day. The grainy texture and soft focus are characteristic of Super 8 home movies from the era. The calm lake stretches behind them, with a distant shoreline visible. This archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-20th century recreation and daily life by the water.
