Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage home movie captures a family picnic in a wooded area at Clear Lake, California. Black and white footage shows several people relaxing on blankets under leafy trees, with a classic automobile parked nearby. The grainy, high-contrast image and soft focus reflect the era's home movie aesthetic, offering a nostalgic glimpse into mid-20th century outdoor recreation and family life.
