Shot on 8mm film in 1946, this vintage home movie captures workers rolling large red barrels across the deck of a ship at the Suez Canal in Egypt. Men in light-colored clothing and hats move the heavy barrels with effort, their shadows stretching across the dark deck under bright sunlight. The scene shows a bustling maritime moment with ropes, cargo, and the edge of the vessel visible, offering a rare glimpse of mid-century port labor. The footage has a grainy, color-bleached quality typical of Super 8 film from the era, with natural motion and authentic documentary feel.
