Two young boys play in a muddy pool they've dug in the backyard, their bare bodies covered in dirt as they splash and laugh. Shot on 8mm film in 1968, this vintage home movie captures a candid moment of childhood joy in Ely, Nevada. The scene is framed by a wire fence and scattered garden hoses, with a distinct purple color cast and film grain characteristic of Super 8 footage. The boys sit and lie in the shallow, muddy water, fully immersed in their summer adventure.
