Shot on 8mm film in 1968, this vintage home movie captures two young boys playing in a muddy backyard in Ely, Nevada. A shirtless boy in swim trunks stands and looks up, while another boy splashes in a shallow puddle of water and mud. Hoses lie coiled on the ground, and a corrugated metal shed and wooden fence form the backdrop under a bright blue sky. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain, color shifts, and a nostalgic, candid quality, offering authentic archival footage of childhood summers.
