Old Faithful Geyser Erupting In 8mm Film — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures the iconic Old Faithful geyser erupting at Yellowstone National Park. The footage shows a powerful plume of water and steam shooting into the overcast sky, viewed through a dark frame that suggests a handheld camera. The grainy, slightly faded color palette and motion blur convey the authentic feel of a personal family vacation recording. No people are visible in the frame, focusing entirely on the natural wonder and the raw, unfiltered beauty of the geyser's eruption.
