Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s editorial or documentary requests needing candid home-movie footage of adults socializing around an outdoor swimming pool in Camden, New Jersey.
Period detail: The swimwear styles, striped patio umbrella, lawn setting, and visible older car support the 1962 home-movie context without identifying a specific venue.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves relaxed, unstaged poolside behavior as adults sit, walk, smile, and gather near the water during a sunny private leisure moment.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adults in swimsuits, a blue-edged pool, grass lawn, trees, a yellow and white umbrella, towels, a chair, and a parked two-tone car.
Film character: The 8mm scan has soft focus, visible grain, slight exposure fluctuation, and handheld framing that give the footage recognizable physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief cutaway, memory beat, or transitional insert for mid-century American leisure, summer recreation, or family-film sequences.
Historical context: The footage shows social outdoor recreation in a residential or private pool setting, with adults gathered casually rather than posed for formal documentation.
Research note: People and recognizable faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed in addition to copyright review; no logos or audible music are indicated.
Research search match: Search matches include 1962 Camden New Jersey pool home movie, adults swimming pool 8mm footage, mid-century summer leisure, and vintage poolside gathering.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other Camden or 1962 material, then broader 1960s home-movie scenes of pools, lawns, and summer leisure.
