Boy Climbing Fence to See Horses as Clown Waves — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1955, this vintage home movie captures a lively scene at a fair or agricultural event in Pennington, New Jersey. A clown in a white face, red nose, and polka-dotted costume waves cheerfully at the camera. Nearby, a young boy in a tank top climbs a wooden fence, smiling as he peers into a pen where a black and white horse and a smaller pinto horse stand. A woman in a purple dress watches nearby. The footage features natural sunlight, authentic film grain, and a nostalgic, candid quality typical of mid-century family recordings.
