Group Of People Wearing Coats Leaving A Building — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1978, this vintage home movie captures a group of people in winter coats exiting a building in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. Snow covers the ground as individuals in period-appropriate attire, including a woman in a striking black-and-tan striped fur coat and another in a white hat, walk along the sidewalk. The footage shows natural movement and candid interactions, with a brick and glass facade visible in the background. The warm tones and film grain evoke a nostalgic, authentic slice of 1970s American life, perfect for documentaries, editorial content, or historical storytelling.

What appears in frame: Visible elements include adults in winter coats, snow along the sidewalk, brick columns, large glass windows, handbags, a striped fur-style coat, and a white hat.
Film character: The 8mm scan has soft focus, warm color, visible grain, slight exposure variation, and a handheld contact-sheet feel that supports its archival texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a short insert, transition, or memory beat for 1970s winter, social outings, or suburban everyday-life sequences.
Historical context: The footage offers a small social glimpse of adults dressed for cold weather outside a brick-and-glass building in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos are evident, and copyright should be considered separately from personal rights.
