Woman on Chair Being Lowered into Pool — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie from 1968 captures a lively summer day at a backyard pool. A woman in a pink swimsuit and swim cap sits in a chair as two men in swim trunks prepare to lower her into the water. Other family members, including children and adults in period swimwear, watch and participate in the playful scene. The footage, shot on Super 8 film, shows natural sunlight, lush green trees, and the characteristic grain and color saturation of 1960s home movies. The moment is a candid, humorous snapshot of mid-century American family life and poolside fun.
