Fountain With Red Azalea Bush — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1972, this vintage home movie captures a vibrant city garden scene in Iran. A large, blooming red azalea bush dominates the foreground, with a grand fountain spraying water in the background. Tall city buildings rise behind the fountain, creating a striking contrast between urban architecture and natural beauty. The footage shows subtle camera movement, with the view framed by the dark edges of a projector lens, enhancing its authentic Super 8 home movie aesthetic. The colors are rich and saturated, typical of 1970s film stock, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia and historical charm.
