Shot on 8mm film in 1967, this vintage home movie captures a family gathering at a wooded picnic area in Galena, Illinois. A woman in a light-colored dress and glasses stands near a picnic table covered with a white cloth, while others sit in folding chairs. The scene features classic 1960s clothing and a stone wall with stairs in the background, all rendered in the warm, slightly faded colors characteristic of Super 8 film. The footage offers a candid glimpse into mid-century American leisure and family life.
