Kids Of Different Ages Swimming And Playing In The Pool — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1966, this vintage home movie captures children of various ages swimming and playing in a public pool in Hagerstown, Maryland. The grainy, color-graded footage shows boys in classic swim trunks standing by the ladder and splashing in the water, with others swimming and wading. The scene is viewed through a darkened frame, giving it a nostalgic, personal feel. The pool's blue water contrasts with the concrete deck and a green inflatable float in the background, evoking mid-century American leisure. This authentic archival clip offers a candid glimpse into everyday life and summer recreation from the 1960s.
