Shot on 8mm film in 1964, this vintage home movie captures a lively parade in Harvard, Illinois. A marching band in crisp white uniforms performs on the street, led by two women in white dresses waving batons. A large crowd of townspeople watches from the sidewalks, with storefronts like a bakery and restaurant visible in the background. Colorful pennant flags hang above the street, adding to the festive atmosphere. The footage shows natural film grain and slight color fading, characteristic of Super 8 home movies from the era. A photographer in a blue shirt crouches in the foreground, capturing the event. This archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-1960s American small-town life and community celebrations.
