Youth Band and Horse-Drawn Carriages in Small-Town Parade — Clip Details

HARVARD ILLINOIS USA-1964: A vibrant 8mm home movie captures a small-town parade in 1964, featuring a youth band in blue and white uniforms marching with a drum labeled 'Elks Youth Band'. The street is lined with spectators, and the scene includes vintage cars, horse-drawn carriages, and storefronts with signs for 'Motor Service' and 'Fountain Sandwiches'. The footage shows a festive atmosphere with colorful bunting and a mix of modern and old-fashioned vehicles, including a 1964 car and a 1900 wagon, all under a bright, overcast sky.
