Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful 1960s Florida vacation home-movie footage for edits needing women relaxing and playing on pool or beach float inflatables.
Period detail: The swim caps, one-piece suits, pastel inflatables, and 8mm color handling support a mid-1960s leisure scene, consistent with the Clearwater, Florida metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The value is an unstaged vacation moment as the women laugh, recline, and tip into the water while the camera watches from nearby.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include three women, blue water, green and white inflatable floats, swim caps, one-piece swimsuits, splashing water, and a distant horizon.
Film character: The clip has soft 8mm focus, blue color cast, visible grain, gate edges, and contact-print framing that read as physical home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a summer-memory insert, playful vacation cutaway, water-recreation transition, or brief 1960s leisure beat.
Historical context: The scene documents casual women’s recreation around water in a family-shot vacation setting without identifying a public event or landmark.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; copyright, location, and personal-release questions should be assessed separately.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1964 Clearwater Florida home movie, 8mm women on pool floats, 1960s beach vacation footage, and vintage inflatable water play.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1964 Clearwater material, then broader 1960s water recreation or vacation scenes.
