Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1960s Camden home-movie footage suited to documentary or museum edits needing backyard summer recreation and pool play on 8mm film.
Period detail: The above-ground pool, saturated color stock, and backyard setting may show mid-1960s domestic leisure details supported by the 1964 metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The scene preserves an informal family-film moment as a person enters the pool and water splashes across the frame in slow motion.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include an above-ground pool, splashing water, a red swimsuit, pool coping, trees, a house in the background, and dark 8mm frame edges.
Film character: The scan carries dense 8mm grain, high contrast, saturated blues and greens, slight softness, and projected-frame borders typical of home-movie material.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief summer-memory insert, slow-motion transition, or cutaway for childhood recreation and suburban pool scenes.
Historical context: The footage provides visual context for backyard leisure in Camden, New Jersey, without documenting a public event or identifiable landmark.
Research note: People and a residential-looking background are visible, so likeness and property review may still be needed separate from copyright status.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1964 Camden 8mm pool, 1960s backyard swimming, home movie splash slow motion, and vintage above-ground pool footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent frames from the same reel, then Camden or 1964 home movies, then broader 1960s summer swimming and backyard recreation clips.
