Submarine Amusement Park Ride Expo — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage footage captures a close-up of a whimsical character mask at Disneyland California, followed by children and adults aboard the iconic Submarine Ride. The scene shows guests boarding the ride, with a young boy in a light-colored shirt and shorts stepping onto the platform. The submarine glides through calm water, surrounded by rocky artificial scenery and a cascading waterfall. The film exhibits natural grain, slight color fading, and the characteristic 8mm home movie aesthetic, evoking a nostalgic 1960s amusement park experience.
