Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures three young girls playing in a grassy backyard in Catskill, New York. One girl in a red one-piece swimsuit stands while two others in swimwear crouch and move across the lawn, engaged in a game. The scene unfolds on a green lawn with houses and trees in the background, rendered in the soft, grainy quality of Super 8 film. The footage exudes a nostalgic, candid charm, capturing a moment of carefree childhood play in a suburban setting.
