Shot on 8mm film in 1961, this vintage home movie captures a father and his young son walking hand-in-hand down the stone steps of a grand building with white columns. The man wears a light-colored short-sleeve shirt and trousers, while the boy is in a light shirt and dark pants. They move toward a sun-drenched park with a gravel path, tall flagpoles, and a reflecting pool, where other visitors stroll and sit. The footage shows natural film grain, slight color fading, and a nostalgic 1960s aesthetic, evoking a quiet moment of family life in Hagerstown, Maryland.
