HAGERSTOWN MARYLAND USA-1961: Warmly dressed ice skaters enjoy skating on a frozen pond under a deep blue night sky. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures silhouetted figures gliding across the ice, their movements slightly blurred by the film's motion. The scene is bathed in an intense purple-blue hue, likely from a filter or film development, creating a surreal, dreamlike atmosphere. Trees line the dark background, and the grainy texture of the vintage home movie adds to its nostalgic charm. This archival clip offers a rare glimpse into a winter pastime from the early 1960s.
