Two Men Remove Forms from Concrete Steps — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1960, this vintage home movie captures two men working on a residential construction site in Wauconda, Illinois. One man in a white t-shirt and jeans kneels on the steps, while another in a dark shirt and hat bends over, removing wooden forms from newly poured concrete. A young girl in a blue plaid dress watches from the side, and a small dog peers from the doorway of the light gray-sided house. The footage shows the manual labor of mid-century home improvement, with natural sunlight and authentic film grain.
