Woman Selling Flowers from Canal Boat — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage footage captures a woman in a light-colored dress selling flowers from a small boat along a canal in Mexico City. She leans toward a larger tour boat, offering her wares to passengers, including an older woman in a white jacket. The scene unfolds on a bustling waterway, with other boats visible in the background. The film exhibits classic Super 8 color shifts and grain, with a warm, nostalgic tone. Later frames show a smiling couple posing under an arched structure, likely at a canal-side attraction. This authentic home movie offers a glimpse into daily life and tourism in mid-century Mexico City.
