Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a group of people fishing from a pier in San Diego, California. The footage shows a diverse crowd of adults and children gathered along the wooden railing, some holding fishing rods, others watching the deep blue water. A man in a light-colored shirt waves at the camera, while a woman in a patterned skirt walks along the pier. The scene is bathed in bright sunlight, with a slightly faded, warm color palette characteristic of 1960s home movies. The handheld camera captures the casual, nostalgic atmosphere of a family outing by the sea.
