A young boy in a purple polka-dot robe opens a gift box by a fireplace in Hagerstown, Maryland, 1959. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures his focused expression as he unwraps the present, with a red Christmas stocking hanging nearby and a nativity scene painting above the mantel. The warm, grainy visuals evoke authentic mid-century holiday nostalgia, with soft lighting and vintage color tones characteristic of home movie footage from the era.
