Family Outing and Mine Supply Store Sign — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1959, this vintage home movie captures a family outing in the Catskills. A young child in a red hooded jacket smiles at the camera while another child and an adult woman sit nearby, likely on a train or trolley. The scene transitions to a blue-tinted storefront sign reading 'LAST CHANCE MINE SUPPLY CO. J.C. Suckers prop.' The clip ends with a view of the building's wooden siding and two windows, showcasing the grainy, color-shifted aesthetic of mid-century home movies.
