Woman and Toddler in Life Preserver in Water — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie from Camden, New Jersey, 1959, captures a woman in the water up to her shoulders, gently caring for a toddler wearing a white inflatable ring. The child, with dark curly hair, smiles and plays in the deep blue water, while another young child in a red swimsuit is visible nearby. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows natural movement and the characteristic grain and color saturation of mid-century home movies, evoking a nostalgic summer day at a lake or river.
