Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s Canadian summer leisure sequences, backyard pool inserts, and domestic recreation cutaways in documentary or educational edits.
Period detail: The pink swimsuit, white swim cap, above-ground pool, striped blanket, and saturated 8mm color may show late-1950s suburban leisure styling.

What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman in a pink swimsuit, white swim cap, shallow blue pool, red ball, leafy trees, striped blanket, seated people, and lawn furniture.
Film character: The clip has visible 8mm grain, slight softness, high summer contrast, saturated color, and a steady home-movie viewpoint with minor frame variation.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief memory beat, domestic summer cutaway, poolside transition, or visual insert for mid-century recreation.
Historical context: The scene documents casual backyard swimming and social relaxation in a residential outdoor setting, without identifying the family or property.
Research note: People are visible, so likeness review may be needed; no logos or music are apparent, and copyright status is separate from personal-rights clearance.
