Shot on 8mm film in 1958, this vintage footage captures tourists at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, gathered at a viewing platform to witness Old Faithful geyser erupt. The crowd, dressed in period 1950s clothing, watches as a massive plume of steam and water shoots high into the air against a backdrop of dense pine forests. The scene is framed by the natural border of the film, with visible grain and color saturation typical of Super 8 home movies. This archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-century American tourism and natural wonder.
