Party With Drinks And Dancing In The Hall — Clip Details

ALBANY NEW YORK-1955: A man in a vest and white gloves pours a drink from a bottle into a small glass, while another person holds a glass and a colorful snack package. The scene shifts to a woman in a light-colored dress smiling as she dances with a man in a dark suit. The footage, shot on 8mm film, captures a lively party atmosphere with warm, saturated colors and the characteristic grain of vintage home movie footage. Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s home-movie requests needing a brief social-party insert with drinks, dancing, and mid-century formal wear in Albany, New York.
Period detail: Visible clues include a vest, tie, dark suits, a light dress, white gloves, small drink glasses, and brightly printed snack packaging that may show mid-century party style.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the informal, close handheld view of adults pouring drinks, holding snacks, and dancing, with subjects behaving like guests rather than performers.
What appears in frame: The clip shows a gloved man with a bottle and glass, another guest holding a drink, colorful snack packages, a man in a suit, and a smiling woman dancing.
Film character: The 8mm footage has saturated color, visible grain, soft focus, uneven exposure, and handheld framing that preserve the texture of a scanned home movie.
Edit role: Editors could use this as a short insert, party cutaway, memory beat, or transition into a sequence about mid-century social life or family gatherings.
Historical context: The footage documents a private-looking adult social gathering in the Albany area, with drinks and dancing presented through a domestic home-movie perspective.
Research note: People and faces are visible, and branded packaging appears, so likeness and trademark review may be needed in addition to any copyright assessment.

Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with Albany or 1956 home movies, then with other 1950s party, drinks, dancing, or holiday gathering footage.
