Two Girls Feeding Ducks At Pond — Clip Details

HICKSVILLE NEW YORK-1955: Two young girls in matching red and white striped shirts and red shorts stand at the edge of a pond, feeding white ducks. Shot on 8mm film, the footage captures a candid moment of childhood joy and curiosity in a suburban park setting. The girls, one with pigtails, hold paper bags and crouch to toss food into the water. The background features a building with arched windows and parked cars, all rendered in the warm, slightly faded colors characteristic of vintage home movies from the 1950s. The film shows natural grain and slight motion blur, enhancing its authentic, nostalgic feel.
