Shot on 8mm film in 1955, this vintage home movie captures a young girl in a blue bathing suit playing in a sun-drenched backyard garden in Hicksville, New York. She crouches on the grass, then stands beside a red wheelbarrow, turning on a garden hose with her father nearby. The scene features lush greenery, a white house with shingled siding, and the warm, slightly faded colors characteristic of mid-century home movies. The footage has natural film grain and a nostalgic, intimate feel, offering authentic archival footage of a 1950s family moment.
