Shot on 8mm film in 1955, this vintage home movie captures a woman swimming alone in a pool at a residential complex in Dade County, Florida. The footage shows a sun-drenched day with a pinkish color cast typical of old film stock. A low-angle view reveals a simple building with multiple windows and lounge chairs along the poolside. The swimmer, wearing a dark one-piece swimsuit and a swim cap, moves through the water with relaxed strokes. The image is grainy and slightly blurred, with visible film scratches and dust, preserving the authentic look of a mid-century home movie.
