Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s California home-movie requests needing a brief stadium, college football field, or campus visit cutaway for documentary or educational use.
Period detail: The orange coat, empty bleachers, painted turf lettering, and 8mm color stock support a mid-century stadium setting, with 1952 California supplied by metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has the value of a visitor-shot glimpse, pausing on a woman near the field before drifting across the stadium rather than recording organized play.
What appears in frame: Visible details include a woman in an orange coat, green football turf, white yard lines, goal posts, painted PACIFIC lettering, empty bleachers, and track or walkway edges.
Film character: The footage carries 8mm home-movie texture with soft focus, visible grain, slight exposure variation, contact-sheet framing, and handheld movement across the field.
Edit role: An editor could use it as a brief insert, location-establishing cutaway, travel-reel transition, or quiet memory beat around school sports and California travel.
Historical context: The scene suggests a mid-century recreational or campus stadium visit, with the empty field and posed figure emphasizing place and travel over athletic action.
Research note: Human likeness and visible field lettering require review, and copyright clearance should be handled separately from any likeness or property considerations.
Research search match: Searchers might look for 1952 California 8mm football field, Pacific turf lettering, woman in orange coat, empty stadium home movie, or mid-century campus sports cutaway.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with the same New Orleans to Pacific trip reel, then with California 1952 material, and then with home-movie stadium, campus, travel, or football-field scenes.
