A young boy in a red jumper and patterned shirt sits beside a man in a Santa Claus costume during a 1951 Cleveland, Ohio holiday gathering. The boy, holding a small toy, appears hesitant and bewildered as Santa, with a white beard and red suit, leans in close. The scene shifts to the boy standing by a brick fireplace, reaching up to hang a stocking. Shot on 8mm film, this vintage home movie captures authentic mid-century holiday traditions with natural lighting and film grain.
