Shot on 8mm film in 1951, this vintage home movie captures a young girl in a dark dress and white shirt jumping rope in a paved courtyard in West Germany. Her blonde hair flows as she jumps, while a friend in a dark caped outfit turns the rope. The scene unfolds in front of a weathered building with a mail slot and barred windows, the grainy black-and-white footage evoking a nostalgic, candid moment of childhood play from the early 1950s.
