Children Build Snowman In Snowy Yard — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1951, this vintage home movie captures children in West Germany playing in the snow. Dressed in heavy winter coats, hats, and mittens, they roll and push a large snowball across a snowy yard. The grainy black-and-white footage shows their joyful effort as they work together to build a snowman, with snow-covered ground and bare trees in the background. This authentic slice of mid-century winter life offers nostalgic, archival footage ideal for historical or family-themed projects.
