A tender 8mm home movie from Middletown Pennsylvania in 1975 captures a young woman cradling her newborn baby. The black-and-white footage shows the mother smiling gently at her infant, wrapped in a soft blanket with a matching bonnet. The grainy texture and soft focus of the Super 8 film evoke a nostalgic, intimate moment of new life and maternal love, with natural light illuminating their faces against a blurred outdoor backdrop.
